Numbers follow positions
Most rule sets tie number ranges to positions, especially for linemen. Map your numbers to your depth chart before you order.
Size for pads
Players are sized with equipment on. Collect sizes at a fitting, not from a sign-up sheet.
Think in seasons
A football set usually has to last several years. Avoid player names if jerseys will be reissued.
Start in the offseason
